Oscar the Grouch
Oscar the Grouch
David never imagined that his 120lb Greater Swiss Mountain Dog puppy would become Grand Champion and the #3 ranked Swissy for January 2012. Oscar, a supremely handsome Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, (who goes by the name “GCH Matterhorn’s Oscar the Grouch CGC at shows), is more than just a show dog. He is the type of dog you grew up with, the incredibly friendly neighborhood dog. Many in Oscar’s high rise apartment building adore him and have seen David carrying him when he was all of 12 lbs. Whether it’s Madison Square Park or just a walk along 3rd Avenue, everyone loves Oscar! As a show dog, Oscar exceeded expectations and performed very well against other Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. He quickly started winning. He finished his championship in just 3 months and his Grand Championship while still a puppy and under 2 years of age!
After 5 best of breeds, Oscar is ready to defend his home field advantage at Westminster.
Among his many achievements, Oscar The Grouch has been inducted into the 2012 AKC/Eukanuba National Championship Honor Roll. Oscar made the Honor Roll for two different achievements: by being in the top 25 of his breed (Greater Swiss Mountain Dog) and for becoming a Grand Champion in 2011.
Oscar has been featured in many publications including the front page of the Wall Street Journal! You can get the full article here. He has been featured in many other publications including MarketWatch, Bloomberg, InvestorBusiness Daily, USA, NYDailyNews, Dog News, and many more.
Oscar has his own YouTube channel and a growing Facebook page consisting of over 95,000 fans and counting!

This is what David had to say about Snout Soother . . . .Oscar uses your Snout Soother product regularly. It works well protecting against apartment heat during winter months and in general year round.
